Rooted in a philosophy of slow design, this Austin home was thoughtfully reimagined as a deeply personal retreat—an organic, layered space that reflects both the client’s story and the rhythm of their everyday life. Each decision was made with intention, allowing the home to evolve into something meaningful, grounded, and timeless.

Rather than redesigning for the sake of change, the focus was on refining and elevating what already existed, preserving key architectural moments while introducing rich textures, natural stone, and curated vintage pieces to add depth and warmth. Every room was designed with purpose, from inviting communal spaces that foster connection to bedrooms tailored for the client’s children. Surrounded by hundreds of oak trees, the design draws heavily from the landscape, creating nesting moments throughout the home that feel connected to nature.
